After yet another fantastic #DOXLON Meetup last week, its that time again for the round up videos and slides! This time around, we were kindly hosted by Moonfruit, in their amazing oxford circus offices. Again the Meetup featured 3 x 20 minute talks, this time on Continuous Delivery. Nathan Fisher is a Senior Systems Engineer with a range of experience in release automation, configuration management, and production maintenance and monitoring. He started his IT career in 2000 and throughout his meandering path has worn many hats; support technician, developer, QA, consultant, and systems administrator. He was a senior DevOps consultant at ThoughtWorks where he focused on helping clients incorporate Continuous Delivery and a DevOps culture into their organisation.
In IT the ability to reliably and efficiently deliver ideas to market is no longer a “should have” but rather a “must have” for competitive advantage. Continuous Delivery provides stakeholders with a finer-grained control of the release schedule. This talk will discuss pitfalls and opportunities to seize on the path to reliable releases.

Co-founder and Principal Consultant at Skelton Thatcher Consulting Ltd, he specialises in helping organisations to adopt and sustain good practices for building and operating software systems: Continuous Delivery, DevOps, aspects of ITIL, and software operability. Matthew founded and leads the 700-member London Continuous Delivery meetup group http://londoncd.org.uk/, and instigated the first conference in Europe dedicated to Continuous Delivery, PIPELINE Conference http://pipelineconf.info/. He also co-facilitates the popular Experience DevOps workshop series http://experiencedevops.org/.
